Randi Cairns is a National Guard wife, and founder and executive director of Home Front Hearts, a nonprofit dedicated to providing military families with direct support, advocacy, resources, and education. As a military spouse and mother of four, she knows firsthand about the challenges of military families—both when their loved ones are deployed and when they return home.

Randi has dedicated more than 25 years to serving vulnerable populations and is passionate about connecting the civilian and military communities through outreach initiatives. She encourages people outside the military community to step up and support the military families among us. Randi also focuses on addressing the issues military children face. She has won numerous awards for her work in support of military families.

Randi has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers College, Rutgers University, and a master’s degree in human services with a focus on nonprofit management from Capella University. She is the proud wife of active duty service member Maj. Ian Cairns, a full-time National Guardsman.
